What is HistoSuite?
HistoSuite is a digital operating and intelligence platform for modern histology laboratories. It helps laboratories digitise workflows, connect teams, improve operational visibility and use HistoAI to turn laboratory data into actionable intelligence. It is designed to work alongside an existing laboratory information system, not to replace it.
Does HistoSuite replace our LIS?
No. HistoSuite is not a laboratory information system and is not positioned as an LIS replacement. Your LIS remains the system of record for accessioning and diagnostic reporting. HistoSuite is the operational layer around that record: worklists, communication, workforce, quality, cost and intelligence.
Can HistoSuite work with multiple laboratories?
Yes. HistoSuite Control Centre is built to administer users, modules, subscriptions, domains and tenants across more than one laboratory. Enterprise deployments are scoped for hospital groups and laboratory networks.
What is HistoAI?
HistoAI is the intelligence layer of HistoSuite. It helps laboratory managers ask operational questions — bottlenecks, workload against a normal day, outstanding requests, productivity changes — and receive concise insights. HistoAI does not interpret slides, issue diagnoses, or replace the professional clinical judgement of pathologists and scientists.
How is HistoSuite deployed?
HistoSuite is delivered as specialised enterprise SaaS. Deployment is scoped with your laboratory and may include configuration of modules, user roles and, where agreed, integration with your existing LIS. Implementation and integrations are quoted separately from monthly platform fees.
How are users managed?
Users, roles and permissions are administered in HistoSuite Control Centre. Access can be granted per laboratory and per module, with an audit trail of administrative activity.
Can HistoSuite be customised?
Yes, within a controlled product architecture. Laboratories can enable the modules they need, configure operational vocabulary and, on Enterprise terms, scope integrations and tenancy. HistoSuite remains one platform rather than a separately rewritten system for each site.
How does onboarding work?
Onboarding starts with a Digital Laboratory Assessment, then a scoped implementation: modules, users, and the operational processes you want to digitise first. Training is aimed at supervisors and bench teams, not a generic software rollout.
What support is provided?
Support is included according to plan, from business-hours email on Essential through priority support on Intelligence and named support on Enterprise. HistoCare inside the laboratory is separate: that module is for your own internal incidents and service requests.
